Felix Zajitschek
Research, Ecology, and Digital Education
I am an evolutionary ecologist driven by a fascination with how organisms adapt to dynamic environments. My research primarily focuses on sex- and age-dependent traits, and how trade-offs between these traits shape their evolved genotypes, phenotypes, and behaviour. I use a mix of experimental work and meta-analysis to uncover the patterns that shape trait variation.
Beyond the lab and the field, I am interested in the intersection of science and digital communication. This site shows my academic publications and CV, as well as my work in developing online courses and other web-based projects. I believe that robust science is essential, and that it is most powerful when paired with transparent modern tools for learning and data exploration.
